Process Note: Online Onboarding of Resident Individual Clients
I. Prerequisites
Before initiating the online onboarding process, please ensure the following conditions are met:
Aadhaar-PAN Linkage: The client’s Aadhaar and PAN must be successfully linked.
KRA Compliance: The client must be KRA compliant with a status of either “Validated” or “Registered” in the respective KRA (KYC Registration Agency) system.
AML & SEBI Restricted List Screening: The client must clear the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) screening and should not appear in the SEBI restricted entities database.
Aadhaar-linked Mobile Number Access: The client must have access to the mobile number linked with their Aadhaar to receive the OTP during the Aadhaar-based e-signing process.
Note:
In the event that any of the above prerequisites are not fulfilled, or the details available in KRA are outdated, the client will be required to proceed through the physical onboarding process.
II. Required Documents for Digital Onboarding
Clients must email clear scanned copies of the following documents for verification and onboarding:
Aadhaar Card (Front & Back)
PAN Card
Valid Address Proof (if different from Aadhaar)
Occupation and annual income
Net worth details
Marital status
Mother’s Name
Nominee details (Aadhaar, PAN, % Allocation, Email ID, Contact No, can be up to 10 nominees)
Recent Passport-size Photograph
Wet Signature Copy (on plain paper, scanned)
Cancelled Cheque (bearing client’s name)
Negative list of companies
Disclosure of interest in other entities
Contact details of the client
III. Document Submission
All the above documents must be sent via email to either of the following IDs:

Acknowledgement:
You will receive an email and SMS confirming your KYC details are being processed via CERSAI CKYC & CVL KRA.
Bank Verification:
A penny drop message will be sent to verify your bank account details, indicating that Rs 1/- has been credited to your account. This will be communicated when the onboarding process is being conducted by AMC.
Consent Email:
You will receive an email titled “Step 1 of 2 CCIPL – Diversified Long Term”, which will include the following actions:
Upload Wet Sign: Upload your signature, either pre-provided or signed on a blank page.
Capture Live Photograph: A photo to verify your live presence and location, which will be added to the PMS/Custody form.
Consent: Type your consent (do not copy-paste) to acknowledge the terms and conditions.
Validate Mobile Number: Enter OTP to verify your mobile number.
E-Signing Invitation:
After completing the steps above, you will receive an e-signing email within 5-10 minutes titled “Invitation to sign CCIPL Documents”.
E-Sign Process:
The e-sign platform will guide you through:
A preview of the form, signatory information, live photo, and audit trail report.
Choose between Aadhaar OTP or Digital Signature (DSC).
Enter your Aadhaar card number and OTP on the NSDL page to complete the e-signature.
In total, you should receive three emails or, subject to AMC’s requirements, this could change to either 1 or 2 emails:
Consent
E-signing PMS Form
E-signing Custody Form
An additional email for any annexures requiring Aadhaar-based e-sign (if applicable)
Important Considerations:
Ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection, preferably using a laptop.
Enable browser location services to complete the e-sign process. Click “Allow/Enable” if prompted by the browser for location access.
